On Friday, 15th July, 1983, some public spirited men of Ikorodu Division met and decided on the need to make a drive to optimise the use of all the available human, materials and potential resources in the Division for the great good of the Division. Within six month of active brainstorming and consultations, the Group (first tagged “Think Tank”) know today as Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG) was born under the able and dynamic leadership of late Professor Anthony Afolabi Adegbola as Chairman. The IDRDG logo was created by one of our first enthusiastic members, Mr. Segun Ogunbunmi. The Group is a non-political, non-religious organisation and non-governmental organisation and was registered as a corporate body on 3rd July, 1988.
